Background of our concept
According to census data, baby boomers who are now in their 50’s and 60’s are the largest age group in Japan. Due to the low birth rate in Japan, this age group will continue to be the largest segment of society for the foreseeable future.

Like other developed countries, the aging of society is one of the most serious issues facing Japan. On a more positive note, however, total current assets held in personal accounts has increased 20% in the last 10 years reaching a total of 1.424 quadrillion yen at the end of 2004. Eighty percent of this total, 1.140 quadrillion yen, is held by people in the 50’s and older, even though they constitute only 60% of total households.
This population has the resources to actively live a rich and healthy life in their senior years. With this in mid, we have created kozocom to provide high quality services to those who possess the discernment and buying power to enjoy the latter half of their lives in a community of people with similar values and interests.
